The ANRS & Rodeo Exes Association is an independent non-profit, charitable organization recognized
by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service as an eligible 501(c)(3) entity. The mission of the Association
is to promote Sul Ross State University and to raise funds to be disbursed to deserving Agricultural
students and rodeo participants by the University. Neither the Board, nor the membership, of the
Association has any part in the selection of scholarship recipients. Membership to the Association
is open to all individuals interested in the mission and activities of the Association.

The 34th Annual Reunion will be held July 23-25, 2010.

2010 Reunion
Just when is the Reunion date? We've received a few inquiries and apologize for the confusion. The Board received a request to move our Reunion due to a conflict with another important SR event. The Board voted to move the reunion to a date in June; however, we soon discovered a number of conflicting events and some problems which would really hamper moving the Reunion to another date. Therefore, we decided to stay with the original plan - July 23-25, 2010 - the last full weekend in July. If you have thoughts on moving the Reunion in 2011 - please attend the business meeting at this years Reunion or email us to let us know your idea.
This year, tentative plans are fpr a social, Friday night Poker Tournament, Saturday Roping, Saturday Poker, Saturday Dance and Sunday Golf Tournament. What other activities or events would you like to have?
Should we have a Reunion All-Around Competition again this year?
If so, what should the prize be?
Who should we ask to play at the dance?
Should we have a Hall of Fame this year?
Where should the Social be?
Any changes to the roping?
Any changes to the Golf Tournament?
Let us know, there is a Board Meeting scheduled for February 27 to begin to finalize plans!
Remember that you do not have to be an ANRS (RAS) graduate - or even a Sul Ross graduate to participate in many of the Reunion Activities - all that is required is that you pay your annual membership dues and have an interest in supporting Sul Ross and the ANRS programs.

Director Positions Needed
Want to do more to help your Association? We will be electing four Director positions at the Reunion. Write-in votes are allowed, but to be placed on the ballot, we must receive your nomination at ANRS@SRSU.org no later than July 16, 2010 (please include your hometown and the years that you attended Sul Ross with your nomination.
