The Association Executive Board consists of four Officers and an eight person Board of Directors. The Executive Board is elected by the general membership of the Association at the annual Reunion. Each member is elected for a two-year term. All four officer positions are elected in odd-numbered years, and one-half of the Directors are elected each year.
No Executive Board member, nor any Association member, receives any compensation for their work in promoting the activities of the Association.
At the 2009 Reunion, we will be electing all four officer positions and at least four Director positions. If you are interested in serving on this Board - please send an email to ANRS@SRSU.org and indicate the position which you would like to run for.
The ANRS & Rodeo Exes Association is an independent non-profit, charitable organization recognized
by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service as an eligible 501(c)(3) entity. The mission of the Association
is to promote Sul Ross State University and to raise funds to be disbursed to deserving Agricultural
students and rodeo participants by the University. Neither the Board, nor the membership, of the
Association has any part in the selection of scholarship recipients. Membership to the Association
is open to all individuals interested in the mission and activities of the Association.
